Terms of Service

Dal Paneer is operated by Pumpr Labs LLC (operating as Dal Paneer). The site publishes recipes and reference material, and lists restaurants that serve dal and paneer. By using it you agree to these terms.

We list two kinds of kitchen, and the difference matters.

Kitchens we've checked are ones where we read the restaurant's own published menu and confirmed it lists both a dal and a paneer dish. The dish names shown are copied from that menu.

"Also around you" entries come from public map data. We have not read those menus, confirmed what they cook, or checked that they are still trading. They are leads, shown so that nothing near you is invisible, and they are labelled that way on the page.

Restaurants change menus, prices, hours, owners, and addresses, and they close. We re-check periodically and we log what we find, but we can't promise any listing is current. Confirm with the restaurant before you rely on it. We are not affiliated with the restaurants listed unless we say so, and a listing is not an endorsement, a partnership, or a claim about food safety or quality.

We list publicly available business information — name, address, and dish names as published on your own menu. If something is wrong, or you'd rather not be listed at all, email us and we'll correct or remove it. We don't require a reason and we won't argue with you about it.

Recipes are published for general use. Cooking involves heat, sharp tools, and ingredients people are allergic to — use your judgement, check ingredients against your own needs, and cook food to safe temperatures. We can't be responsible for what happens in your kitchen.

Nothing on this site currently sells food, takes payment, or forms an order. Joining the early-access list or showing interest in a kitchen creates no obligation on either side — you aren't buying anything and we aren't promising a delivery date. When ordering and subscriptions launch, they will come with their own terms covering payment, cancellation, refunds, and delivery, and we will ask you to agree to those separately.

Don't scrape it wholesale, resell the directory, attempt to break or overload it, or submit other people's email addresses. Our text, design, logo, and photography are ours or used under licence (see photo credits); restaurant names and marks belong to the restaurants.

The site is provided "as is". We don't warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the information on it is complete or current. To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the site. Nothing here limits liability that can't legally be limited.

We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected in the date at the top of this page. These terms are governed by the laws of Washington State, USA.
